Seabuckthorn

The Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae Rhamnoides) is a shrub belonging to the oleaster family and it grows in most parts of Europe and Asia. We find it also in Italy in the Apennines and in alpine valleys. His berries have a strong sour taste and are characterized by their richness in vitamins (A, B-group, C and E), minerals and phytochemicals. These substances are known for their antioxidant activity (radical scavengers). Without sugar  is suitable for diabetics.
